Thomas Burns, Jr., MD

Dr. Burns graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology in 1989. He received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago in 1994 and performed a residency in general surgery at Loyola University Medical Center until 1996. He then pursued his residency in urology, also at Loyola Medical Center. 

Dr. Burns is involved in advancing the field of urology. He publishes articles and presents papers at professional urological assemblies, and he is a member of the American Urologic Association and the North Central Section of the AUA. His specialties include BPH therapies, kidney stones, male infertility, urologic emergencies, and renal disorders. Dr. Burns is certified by the American Board of Urology.
