Teja Alapati, MD

Dr. Teja Alapati is a board‑certified ophthalmologist and cornea specialist. He grew up in Huntsville, AL, and attended school in Philadelphia, earning both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his residency training at Tulane University and went on to a prestigious cornea fellowship at the Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, where he gained advanced expertise in corneal disease and surgery.

Fluent in Spanish, Dr. Alapati is passionate about global outreach, with a special focus on Latin America. When he is not caring for patients, he enjoys spending time in the dance studio or on the tennis courts.
