My appointment was a follow-up from a colonoscopy I had two weeks earlier. I had to go into the office to hear what the results were, that could have been done on the phone. I disagree. Physically, it's very difficult to look for a handicapped parking place, get out my walker, walk to the door, elevator, then to the office. Then do the reverse when I leave. I counted 260 steps to the office. I'm 84, in fairly good health, but my legs, back, arms and shoulders are in bad shape, very weak and extremely difficult to go through this. Neesha explained that's the way they do it because I can understand better what she's explaining. I got no papers explaining what they found, so it's not like I could look over any polyp or diverticulitis problem I have, plus more. This office visit is totally unnecessary, especially for someone in my physical shape. That's what televised phone calls are for. They could send my results via email or USPS. I wish I got a paper report before I left to read at home and see what my next step would be. I like Dr Sheth and Neesha is very nice, but for me, this is an exhausting procedure. I wish they'd reconsider their practice.
