Naveed Syed Iqbal, MD

Dr. Naveed Syed Iqbal is an interventional cardiologist skilled in performing cardiac catheterizations with percutaneous interventions using the radial or wrist approach. He also has expertise in treating peripheral vascular disease and structural heart disease including TAVR (percutaneous aortic valve replacement).

Dr. Iqbal completed his Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Marshall University School of Medicine in Huntington, West Va., where he served as Chief Cardiology Fellow and was recognized by the Department of Cardiology for his excellence in teaching.

Dr. Iqbal completed his residency training at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, where he was a recipient of numerous awards including the Barrett H. Bolton Humanism Award for his dedication to the well-being of patients and their families. After completing his residency, he joined the medical staff of the Heart and Vascular Institute at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. There he cared for complex cardiac patients as well as becoming an extensive author and researcher, presenting and publishing his findings at numerous national meetings and journals including the American College of Cardiology.

Following his cardiology fellowship, Dr. Iqbal pursued further training in interventional cardiology at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center in Cincinnati, where he was trained in all aspects of coronary, structural and peripheral vascular disease interventions
