The DR first fully takes care of what the appointment was scheduled for. Then takes the time to assess any new developments. They also do not delay care for other scheduled patients. Before addressing my new developments, they move to the next appointment and then come back to address the new issue. It is courteous fair care for all patients.

Great doctor

I am incredibly grateful to Dr. Mike. I am dealing with several health issues. I appreciate the additional time he talked with me at my last appointment. Although I understand much of the medical issues I am facing it is taking a toll on my emotional health. Talking with Dr. Mike definitely helped me gain hope I can get through them. It's also helpful when there are not easy answers he doesn't make me believe I'm making things up. He has excellent skills in medicine and understanding the soul.

This was my first visit as my old doctor at this facility retired and I was searching for someone that was knowledgeable, efficient and yet felt like a human, not like an ER doctor. Dr DeMaerdelaer is wonderful. He fits the bill and is compassionate as well.

I had a great visit!

Dr. Mike has always been very a good listener. On this particular visit I explained to him why I had come, and what I wanted to accomplish - review of a health/exercise program I was on, suggestions for improvements, working with him on my obesity, working in tandem with my cardiologist, and meeting with him more often. His response was very positive, reviewed the data I had brought, gave suggestions and comments, agreed to working with my cardiologist, and we set up another appointment in 3 months. I left energized!

Dr Mike Demaertelaere is a dr I trust and admire. I always follow his advice. He has always treated me with respect and good medical care.

Standard of care is too cookie cutter. More going through the motions on running the same tests for every patient. Doesn't really address the underlying issues with any problems I have. Didn't ask about my diet/nutrition, exercise routine or any supplements I may be taking or should be taking at my age.

Being a rather new patient, Dr. Mike is taking the time to really grasp my medical problems. I don't feel like a stranger any more.
