About The Provider
Dr. Maxim Polansky is a double board-certified Mohs Micrographic Surgeon and Dermatologist. He graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and completed his internship at Yale New Haven Hospital. He then trained as a dermatology resident and chief resident at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta. He further pursued a fellowship in Mohs micrographic and reconstruction surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Hospital in New York City, one of the most prestigious programs in the nation. He learned from national and world experts in cancer management how to customize medical and surgical treatments for complex skin cancer cases. Dr. Polansky has practiced as a Mohs surgeon at the Marshfield Clinic, an academic center where he cared for many skin cancer patients and taught dermatology residents. He also served as the Director of Mohs Micrographic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center, where he reestablished the Mohs surgery program and continued to educate dermatology residents. Dr. Polansky has published and presented on various topics in general dermatology and dermatologic surgery. He uses his fellowship training, research, and extensive experience in Mohs micrographic surgery to provide individualized care for each patient.

Dr. Polansky performs all kinds of skin surgeries, including removals of cysts, lipomas, and other benign skin growths. He is also skilled in cosmetic procedures such as Botox®, fillers, cosmetic and medical chemical peels, and advanced treatments for sun damaged skin.
