Joseph Hindo, MD

Dr. Joseph Hindo is board certified in Internal Medicine and practices with Silver Cross Medical Group in Joliet. With over 30 years of experience, ranging from emergency care to flu and chronic illness, he is dedicated to caring for adults.

Dr. Hindo completed an internal medicine residency at The Chicago Medical Schools affiliated hospitals including the VA Medical Center in North Chicago, St. Mary of Nazareth Hospital, Great Lakes Naval Hospital, and Jackson Park Hospital. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and a member of the American Society of Internal Medicine, and Illinois Society of Internal Medicine. As a former Captain in the U.S. Army Reserve Medical Corps from 1986-1994, Dr. Hindo served our country and is a Veteran of Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm.

Locally, Dr. Hindo is currently Medical Director of the Silver Cross Managed Care Organization. He has served as President of the Will Grundy Medical Society, Medical Director of Silver Cross Home Health, Chairman of Professional Education for the American Cancer Society’s Will County Division, and as a member of the Will County Board of Health. He also volunteered his medical services for more than a decade at the Will Grundy Medical Clinic.
