George F Aziz, MD

Dr. George Aziz is a board-certified interventional cardiologist. He attended the University of Chicago for his undergraduate studies and then went to the Medical College of Ohio, where he received his medical degree.

After residency training at Loyola University, Dr. Aziz stayed to complete fellowships in heart failure and cardiac transplantation and earned recognition for dedicated service to the Loyola Heart Transplant Program.

Dr. Aziz is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. He has particular interest in both coronary and peripheral artery intervention.

He also completed fellowships in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology at Miriam Hospital, which is part of Brown medical school, in Providence Rhode Island. While there, he was named Chief Fellow.
