About The Provider
Dr. Charles Kinder graduated # 1 in his class from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency training in internal medicine at Harvard's Brigham and Women's Hospital, going on to complete his cardiology fellowship at Loyola University Medical center.
Dr. Kinder completed his heart rhythm (clinical cardiac electrophysiology) training at the University of Chicago and remained on staff as an assistant professor.
Dr. Kinder is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He has implanted more than 4,000 pacemakers/defibrillators, including more than 500 biventricular devices, and performed more than 1,000 radio frequency catheter ablation procedures to cure rapid heart rhythm disorders.
Dr. Kinder is recognized as an expert in the heart rhythm field and serves as a faculty member for the Heart Rhythm Society's national device implant training course, where he has instructed more than 1,000 other doctors on device implantation techniques.
