Amit Parekh, MD

Dr. Amit Parekh is a fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in spinal surgery. His surgical expertise and interests include minimally invasive spinal surgery, spinal cord injuries, management considerations for osteoporotic patients, motion preservation surgery and management of adult spinal deformities.

Dr. Parekh obtained his undergraduate degree in 2013 at the Georgia Institute of Technology, with a degree in biomedical engineering. Following completion of medical school with the Medical College of Georgia, Dr. Parekh completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He then completed the Combined Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Spine Surgery Fellowship at the prestigious University of Calgary, an AO Spine sponsored fellowship where he received exemplary training across the full breadth of spinal surgery.

Dr. Parekh takes a highly personal approach in caring for his patients, with thoughtful decision-making and communication as key cornerstones for delivering optimal care.
