He has a significant interest in musculoskeletal foot and ankle injuries, wounds, and skin conditions namely fungus. He graduated as chief resident of a competitive 3-year rearfoot reconstructive residency at Cook County and Weiss Memorial Hospital and was trained by some of the foremost foot and ankle surgeons in the Chicagoland area.
